My well-established Engineering client based close to Caversham is looking to recruit a Machine Operator on a full time permanent basis to work on a rotating double day shift (06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00). Candidates will ideally have previous engineering / manufacturing experience and be familiar with engineering practices, machine health & safety and equipment, hand tools, vernier calipersetc.Ideal Candidate:
- Experience operating machines within an engineering or manufacturing environment. (CNC / Amada Punch press desirable)
- Have general engineering knowledge and experience of Machine operating and/or setting.
- Experience in quality checking of parts using micrometres / vernier calipers.
- Happy working a rotating double day shift.
- Any knowledge of sheet metal is desirable but not essential.
This role will be on a double day shift (phone number removed) / 14.00 - 22.00) which will rotate weekly. A competitive basic salary of £24,960 - £26,000 is offered to the successful candidate. In addition, my client pays profit related pay (paid quarterly) and a monthly production bonus which will take the total annual salary to £30,700 - £31,980.Feel free to apply for the role and one of our consultants will be in contact or alternatively feel free to contact the office to discuss the role in more detail.
