My well-established Engineering client based close to Cavershamis looking to recruit a Machine Operator on a full time permanent basis to work on a rotating double day shift (06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00). Candidates will ideallyhave previous engineering / manufacturing experience and be familiar with engineering practices, machine health & safety and equipment, hand tools, vernier calipers etc.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience operating machines within an engineering or manufacturing environment. (CNC / Amada Punch press desirable)
- Have general engineering knowledge and experience of Machine operating and/or setting.
- Experience in quality checking of parts using micrometres / vernier calipers.
- Happy working a rotating double day shift.
- Any knowledge of sheet metal is desirable but not essential.
This role will be on a double day shift (phone number removed) / 14.00 - 22.00) which will rotate weekly. A competitive basic salary of £24,960 - £26,000 is offered to the successful candidate. In addition, my client pays profit related pay (paid quarterly) and a monthly production bonus which will take the total annual salary to £30,700 - £31,980.
