Huntswood currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Advisory Consultant to join our busy advisory team based out of our Reading office on a hybrid basis (with some UK travel) and begin their journey into consulting.

Reporting to our Senior Advisory Consultant, as a Junior Advisory Consultant, you will support the advisory team to deliver the engagements to clients. Research to support new business development and market issues. Support on team administration and tracking of collective actions across engagements, and internal propositions and processes. Contribute to sustaining a positive reputation for Advisory at Huntswood and have responsibility for compliance with internal controls and support other areas of the business to ensure collaborative working and achievement of company goals.

The ideal Junior Advisory Consultant will have

  • 1-2 years of experience in complaint/case handling within Financial Services.
  • Financial Ombudsman Experience is preferable but not necessary
  • Desire to forge a career in consultancy
  • Demonstrable organisational skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Desire to undertake incremental qualifications across Insurance or Consumer Credit sectors which would be funded by Huntswood
