Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day facilities management of a prestigious Build to Rent property.
  • Manage a team of in-house maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard.
  • Monitor and report on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and property standards.
  • Regularly inspect the building, grounds, and amenities, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, handling any issues or queries promptly.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external partners to drive improvements and enhance resident satisfaction.

Profile

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in facilities management within the Build to Rent or residential sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and property maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualification (preferred but not essential).
