Driver Hire Reading is seeking a 7.5T delivery driver for a client in Reading, a leading supplier in the tool and plant hire sector.
The role involves delivering or collecting tools and small plant equipment using a 7.5T flatbed vehicle.
The pay rate is £15.00 per hour for basic hours and £17.00 per hour for overtime, with a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.
Candidates must possess a full UK driving licence with CAT C1 entitlement, a valid CPC and Digi-Tacho card, and have previous commercial driving experience.

Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for a 7.5T delivery driver to work with our client in Reading. Our client is one the UK's leading supplier to tool and plant hire sector.

The general duties of this role will involve driving a 7.5T flatbed vehicle to customer sites for the delivery or collection of tools or small plant equipment.

The pay rates on offer are as follows:

£15.00 per hour Basic rate.
£17.00 per hour Overtime rate.

These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.

There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.

Suitable candidates will have the following:

A full and valid UK driving licence, with CAT C1 entitlement.
No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
Current and valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards.
Previous commercial driving experience.
Attainable references in a driving capacity.
Appropriate PPE (Safety shoes & Hi-viz).
