We are looking for skilled and experienced Carpenters of all types - whether you specialize in First Fix, Second Fix, or Shuttering - to join our construction team in Reading, starting on 6th January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • First Fix Carpenters: Install frameworks, timber structures, and wooden components such as floor joists, wall studs, and roof trusses
  • Second Fix Carpenters: Fit doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, and other finishings, ensuring high-quality, precise work
  • Shuttering Carpenters: Build and install formwork for concrete pours, ensuring a solid and safe structure
  • General carpentry tasks as directed by the site manager
  • Ensuring the site is safe, clean, and organized at all times
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and site requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in First Fix, Second Fix, or Shuttering carpentry
  • CSCS card (essential)
  • Own tools suitable for your specialty
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
  • Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required
