The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Requirements Engineer to join a leading Nuclear Defence company based in Reading.

Job Overview:

Requirements Engineer required to work in multi-disciplinary team supporting a key AWE programme. Working to the Chief Engineer on a capability life extension programme you will work across a variety of projects covering upgrades to and design of infrastructure, PP&E and processing.

We are looking for experienced Systems Engineers who understand the golden thread between Capability, Project, and System level requirements and the associated components required when structuring and defining requirements.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience within the nuclear domain required or be able to demonstrate transferable skills obtained within similar high hazard, highly regulated environment.
  • Defence experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in DOORs required.
  • Experience of running stakeholder workshops to elicit requirements also advantageous.
  • Candidates should be able to work under own initiative, have excellent stakeholder management skills and be a proven team player.
