  • Business Development Manager position selling the installation and maintenance service contracts for automatic doors, gate automation, barriers, bollards and access controls systems
  • 65% of your time will be spent selling to end users such as: University of Kent & Dorset Healthcare
  • The remaining 35% selling to FM companies specifiers, commercial high rise residential buildings owners, retail, leisure and blue chip companies
  • Majority of your time will be spent generating new business however will be expected to manage circa 25 key accounts
  • Will be require to work both reactively and proactively with customers
  • Conduct pre-installation inspections and offer advice to installers
  • Work in conjunction with the dedicated service engineer team

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Automatic Door Services with:

  • Must have a proven track record in service sales to end users
  • Ideally from the automatic doors, gate automation, barriers, bollards and access controls systems industry (not essential)
  • Must be commercially astute
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills and good communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Hungry, go-getter with a dynamic personality
  • No job hoppers
