Client Relationship Manager - DC Pension Schemes

A leading UK Pensions Consultancy, who are continuing to grow at a rapid rate are looking to recruit a highly experienced individual who will manage client relationships, providing the vital link between clients and the technical administration team who manage a range of DC schemes.

This is an interesting challenging role as the team continues to grow and develop through 2024. You will have the opportunity to have genuine input, influence and make significant contributions to the department.

Specifics of the role will include -

  • Day to day management of client relationships, maintaining service levels, ensuring a smooth pension administration service and developing long term client objectives.
  • Participate in pension operational meetings, discussing strategy, growth and development.
  • Prepare for and take part in client and trustee meetings.
  • Manage responses to complex pension queries, providing advice as required.
  • Manage ad hoc projects, concerning administration services. Including - scheme closure, liability reduction, data audit reports. Ensure all projects are managed in line with timescales objectives and legislative requirements.
  • Manage and oversee the client billing process.
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with the clients expectations and agreements made.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure the client receives an all-round efficient service.
  • Manage new business tenders and presentations. Identify and help with the development of new business opportunities.

To apply for the position, you should have excellent experience of MasterTrusts and DC Schemes. You should have worked in a similar relationship oriented role working at a senior level. You will need to display strong presentation skills, an in-depth technical knowledge covering legislation, governance, complex arrangements and pensions administration.
