We are seeking a Principal Category Manager for a hybrid role in Reading within the defence sector.
Candidates should possess a strong background in Lead or Senior Category Management.
Essential experience includes Category Management and strategies in Defence, Nuclear, or Central Government.
The role requires expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Contract Management.
A salary is competitive, and candidates should ideally have MCIPs or equivalent qualifications with relevant public sector procurement experience.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have a proven Lead / Senior Category Management background, with the following skills/ experience:

Experience in Category Management & Category Strategies within the Defence, Nuclear or Central Government.
Experience in Strategic Souring, Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management
Experience in using CCS procurement frameworks.
Experience in Public Sector Procurement regulation (PCR 2015)
MCIPs or equivalent
