Senior Business Development Manager (x3) - Berkshire

Our client is seeking experienced Senior Business Development Managers to drive and close high-value, complex sales deals across the public, private, and B2B sectors.

The Role

As a key part of the sales team, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving revenue growth by identifying and securing strategic opportunities.

  • Building relationships with key decision-makers in central and local government, as well as private sector organisations.

  • Delivering tailored solutions in cloud, AI, telecoms, and voice applications.

  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.

This role is well-suited to an individual with extensive public sector experience and an established network of contacts, enabling them to make an immediate impact.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales & Growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, pre-sales, and product development, to identify and engage prospects.

  • Create and implement targeted sales plans for key customer accounts.

Customer Relationships & Satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts.

  • Promote additional services and solutions within existing customer accounts.

Product & Market Expertise
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SaaS, AI, Cloud, and telecoms solutions.

  • Conduct detailed needs assessments and deliver solution-focused presentations.

  • Provide mentorship and support to other sales colleagues.

Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of five years' experience managing and closing major accounts within UK public and private sectors.

  • Strong background in SaaS, AI, Cloud, Contact Centre, or Telecoms sales.

  • Proven success working with public and private sector frameworks.

  • Skilled in CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.

  • Degree Educated, with Sound educational back-ground,
