Technical Sales Manager (Electrical Power Distribution Board solutions) - Berkshire, UK

(CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE MUST BE BASED WITHIN REASONABLE COMMUTING DISTANCE OF READING / BRACKNELL / CAMBERLEY OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE AT SHORT NOTICE)

A new vacancy for a Technical Sales Manager (ELECTRICAL) with new fast-growing division of leading UK electrical solutions provider. Combining both office and field-based responsibilities, the role will require regular visits to customer sites in the UK, so candidates must be willing to travel.

Key candidate requirements:

  • You will need to be experienced in technical sales (minimum 5yrs experience) working within the Electrical Services sector.
  • Technical understanding of SWITCHGEAR and POWER DISTRIBUTION BOARDS (ideally solutions-based)
  • Willingness to travel as the role is roughly 3 days office/2 days field-based.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Word and Excel, AutoCAD (further training can be provided).
  • Effective communication both verbal and written.
  • Efficient, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to targets and goals within set guidelines and parameters.
