This Nursery is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead a well-established nursery that offers high-quality, affordable childcare. The nursery features a nurturing environment with diverse cultural backgrounds and languages, enhancing a rich learning atmosphere. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to providing an inclusive, inspiring, and supportive setting for both children and staff.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide professional leadership and management to ensure the nursery operates at high standards, focusing on a sustainable and inclusive service.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including health, safety, and Ofsted regulations.
  • Manage the operational aspects of the nursery daily, alongside strategic planning with the service manager.
  • Develop and implement a business plan that aligns with our goals of flexibility, affordability, and high-quality service, ensuring the nursery’s sustainability.
  • Strengthen and maintain connections with local partnerships, representing the nursery’s interests across various sectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional early education and identifying needs early to ensure every child reaches their potential.
  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Degree in early years and/or child development or relevant work experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing an inclusive service for children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in partnering with parents to support child development.
  • In-depth knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted standards, current legislation, safeguarding, and child protection.
  • Enhanced DBS check is essential.
