We are seeking a reliable and experienced Traffic Marshal to join our construction team in Reading, starting 6th January 2025. If you have a keen eye for safety and enjoy being part of a high-energy environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage site traffic, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians
- Assist with the safe arrival and departure of delivery vehicles and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all site safety regulations and traffic management plans
- Maintain clear communication with site managers, drivers, and other personnel
- Monitor traffic routes and identify potential hazards, reporting issues promptly
- Support the general site team with any other duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman certification (essential)
- Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent awareness of health and safety regulations
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
