J3A Recruitment are proud to be supporting an up and coming leader within the Water Industry. A Tier 1 Contractor who has already been very successful through AMP 7 with a view to have even more success moving in to AMP 8.
Due to a large workload and order book, they are now seeking to employ an experienced Project Engineer to join their team and support a range of projects ranging from 3m-5m.
For the right person, they can find themselves at the forefront of some highly rewarding projects with an opportunity for progression into more senior roles within the business over time.
Duties of the Project Engineer
- Overall responsibility forworking with the clients Designerand suppliers to successfullydeliverallmechanicalrequirementsacross a project portfolio.
- Work with the commercial team toprocureall off and onsitemanufacturedmechanical requirements
- Closelymonitorthe progress of off and onsiteactivitiesto ensure deliveryagainstagreed programmesand budgets.
- Responsible forundertaking factory inspections and quality audits andensuring thehighest level of quality and customer satisfactionfor allmechanical installations.
What's needed to be successful
- Display a high degree of technical knowledge andhaverelevantmechanical project engineeringexperiencewithin a technical surrounding
- Strong analytical,problem-solving and organisational skillswhocan multi-task and consistently meet challenging deadlines.
- Commerciallyastute.
- Experience of both pre-production and productionmechanicalproject engineering desirable.
- Programme focused with an ability to plan and organise resourcesboth off and onsiteto deliver on time and in full.
- BIM/digital experienceisessential.
- Minimum HNC qualified inamechanical engineeringsubject desirable.
- IT literacy essential.
- Professional qualification is desirable.
- SMSTS safety qualification and relevant CSCS card is desirable.
Remuneration / Package
- Salary up to 55,000 dependent on experience
