Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer with hands-on experience in groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities on-site, ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and safety regulations. You will collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the effective delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring smooth progression of groundworks and RC frame activities.
- Supervise and coordinate site operations, ensuring the correct execution of groundworks (excavation, drainage, foundations) and RC frame (formwork, reinforcement, concreting).
- Ensure all construction activities are carried out in compliance with design specifications, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor and ensure accurate measurement and alignment of structural elements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering, particularly with a focus on groundworks and RC frame construction.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks (including excavation, drainage, and foundations) and RC frame works (formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring).
- Proficiency in using engineering software and site management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- A valid CSCS card (or equivalent) and relevant site certifications are required.
- Previous experience working on large-scale residential or commercial projects - RC Frames
