Reed Public Sector's  client is seeking a talented and experienced Disposal and Property Management Surveyor to join their team on contractual basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of properties and contribute to innovative property solutions.

Role Overview: The Disposal and Property Management Surveyor will manage a varied caseload, including property disposals and investment property management. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on land and property issues, including commercial leasing, valuations, property due diligence, and transactions. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize the property portfolio and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement property strategies across a diverse portfolio.
  • Provide professional advice on land and property issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and company processes.
  • Commission and monitor external property consultancy and legal advice.
  • Influence policy development and contribute to portfolio and strategy changes.
  • Establish and maintain a network of internal and external contacts.
  • Manage estate delivery plans, including risk analysis, budget forecasting, and project appraisals.
  • Write reports to inform senior management decision-making.
  • Lead commercial property negotiations with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach and deliver high-quality service.
  • Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to formulate and implement property strategies.
  • High level of IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office.
  • Member or Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
  • Relevant qualification (diploma or degree) or advanced professional knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of property market trends and public sector operations.
  • Experience in managing a range of occupied and unoccupied properties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and well-organized.
