- Leading the estimation process for projects ranging from £15m - £20m, with a focus on multi-disciplinary work.
- Preparing detailed pricing and tender submissions across a variety of heavy civils and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborating with two Assistant Estimators for take-offs and managing a structured bidding process.
- Engaging in post-tender activities and applying smart strategies to improve win rates.
- Using Conquest and Causeway pricing software (training provided for transition where required).
- Working alongside the Estimating Data Manager to enhance efficiency through a centralised estimating library.
- Ensuring tenders are presented in a standardised format, aligning with senior management expectations.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in civil engineering, infrastructure, or heavy civils.
- Strong understanding of earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and structures.
- Confident in pricing tenders independently for projects up to £20m.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to develop within the role.
- Proficient in Excel
- Willing to work 2 days per week in the office (flexibility considered for the right candidate).
