We have an opportunity in the South of England for a Water Treatment Service / Plumbing Engineer to join a professional and forward-thinking provider of Water Treatment services. You will be providing various Water Treatment / Plumbing services to various longstanding clients, including Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic sites. Successful candidates will have an excellent work ethic and will be driven and determined to provide excellent quality services in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford, Witney, Bicester, Oxon, Slough, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Aldershot, Woking, Guildford, Farnham, Epsom, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
" Will have extensive experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer with experience working on more technical systems. E.g. Cooling towers / Steam Boilers.
" Good IT skills.
" Ability to carry out work in a time efficient manner.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Up to date knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
The Role:
" Carrying out routine chemical analysis on steam boilers and closed systems using test kits.
" Carrying out chemical dosing on closed systems.
" CWST installations, cleans, and chlorination's.
" Conducting deadleg removals.
" Removal, replacement, and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework.
" TMV installs, replacement, repairs, servicing & failsafe testing.
" Showerhead descales.
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems.
" Carrying out work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Providing support and excellent technical advice to clients.
