Panel Beater Required for a Repair Centre in Reading
Salary DOE in the region of 45-55k basic

Are you a skilled Panel Beater looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving automotive repair centre in Reading. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to become part of our talented team, delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out vehicle panel repairs, including realignment, removal, and replacement of damaged panels.
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards.
Use the latest repair methods, tools, and technologies for accurate panel repairs.
Perform welding, riveting, and panel beating as required.
Work closely with other team members, including paint technicians and mechanics, to ensure a seamless repair process.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
Complete necessary documentation to keep accurate repair records.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Panel Technician in a similar role (automotive, body shop, repair centre).
Excellent knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, methods, and tools.
Ability to work with aluminium, steel, and composite materials.
Relevant qualifications (NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair) are advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A full, valid UK driving licence.
