Our Reading-based client is a fast-growing professional services consultancy, helping small business owners to achieve their goals, reduce stress, and unlock growth. They're on the lookout for a passionate Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team and be part of that mission.
What you’ll be doing:
• Making outbound calls to follow up on warm inbound leads from businesses seeking expert accountancy support
• Running engaging discovery calls to explore prospects’ needs and pain points
• Offering tailored accountancy solutions that go beyond compliance - helping businesses grow and flourish
• Driving results across various campaigns, including some cold outreach to high-potential prospects
• Working closely with a collaborative and ambitious team focused on shared success
Who you are:
• Min. 2-3+ years of experience in sales, with a solid track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Professional, empathetic, curious, and confident — a natural communicator who listens first and sells second
• Proven ability to build trust and take a consultative approach to sales
• Results-oriented and know how to close with confidence
• Experience selling services in the accountancy or professional services world would be a plus, but not essential — quick learners are welcome!
• Tech-savvy, comfortable using CRMs and systems, messaging apps, and mobile tools in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
This is an exciting moment for the company as they continue to grow at an accelerated pace, with scope to develop into a managerial position in future and expand the team.
The successful applicant will receive a basic salary in the £26,000-£28,000 per annum range, with a realistic OTE of over £40,000 in the first year earned through a generous and achievable monthly commission plan.
