Development Manager - Local Authority (6 Month Contract)

Are you a experienced Project/Delivery Manager with a proven track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget?

Our client, a leading Local Authority, is seeking a highly competent Development Manager to join their team for a 6-month contract. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of a significant regeneration project currently underway.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for working closely with the contractor to oversee the on-site delivery of a key development project. Your focus will be on ensuring the project remains on schedule and within its allocated budget, proactively addressing any challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the on-site progress of the construction project.
  • Work collaboratively with the contractor to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and control costs.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication

Ideally you will have experience of working for either an RP or Local Authority on similar projects
