Project Manager

Role: Project ManagerSalary/Rate: up to £63 per hour (inside IR35) Location: Reading areaContract Duration: 18 months

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our government client. This Project Manager role is hybrid, based between approx. 3 days per week on sites in the Reading area (Aldermaston, Burghfield, Brimpton Common), and the remainder of the week working remotely.

The contract for the Project Manager position is for 18 months with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance")

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Direct Project Manager experience 5+ years
• Construction project experience
• Contracts experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills and people interaction skills
• CCS Framework experience
• NEC 4 experience
• Formal Project Manager qualification is good to have but experience is more important - APM/Prince 2
• Some background working in a nuclear background or on a licensed site would be advantageous
• Manage projects with focus on Governance (compliance and reporting).
• Management of project resources (people, money).
• Lead the planning of the task/project.
• Manage work as defined in the Work Authorisation Document (WAD).
• Lead, support and initiate change against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
• Lead, initiate and perform risk and opportunity identification and subsequent actions.
