ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a key delivery partner in a nationally significant infrastructure programme, known for working at the highest levels of safety, security, and engineering complexity. This opportunity offers the chance to lead within a technically challenging environment, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to shape major developments. Due to project demand, they are seeking a Construction Manager to provide experienced oversight of a large-scale site delivery programme.

THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ROLE:

As Lead Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and effective execution of on-site installation activities, leading a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating with internal functions and external contractors. You will take a strategic view on logistics, H&S implementation, stakeholder coordination, and procedural compliance, ensuring project delivery meets rigorous standards. This role demands strong construction experience in nuclear or similarly regulated sectors, as well as a hands-on leadership approach.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Active Security Clearance (SC)
Extensive on-site construction experience in a nuclear or highly regulated sector
Demonstrable leadership of large-scale or multiple construction projects
Strong understanding of CDM regulations, construction legislation, and safety frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills
Ability to influence, negotiate, and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams
Experience authoring and implementing operating procedures
