Kingsley Consulting has partnered with a Market Leading Construction Product Manufacturer to assist with appointing a Technical Specification Manager for their Building Envelop Division. The Division is set to grow to upwards of £50M T/O in the next 3yrs so now would be the perfect time to take the next phase of your career forward with an already successful Group, with the appetite to remain ahead of their competition within this space.The role is very much Technical focused, rather than hard sales driven. You will be collaborating with senior stakeholders of the wider group to maximise opportunity and increase market share within the Building Envelope product range (Flat Roofing/ Pitched Roofing/ Cladding/ Renewables etc). You will be responsible for developing relationship with Architects, Surveyors and Specifiers and end users to promote the full system offering, identifying opportunities and securing new business, whilst maintaining relationships with existing clients.A core focus of your role will be to deliver Technical and Pricing support to customers and enquiries within the building envelope product range toSalary: £55,000 - £60,000 (Negotiable)Benefits: Annual Bonus, Commission, Pension, MedicalDuration: Permanent – 40hrs Monday to FridayLocation: South UK Key Responsibilities:- To grow expand upon our client’s network within the specifier network to generate pipeline opportunities.- Present technical information along with communicating Design/Feasibility information to specifiers/end users/clients.- Promote specifications to a range of stakeholders including clients, architects, local authority asset managers, main contractors, sub-contractor approved installers, housing associations etc.- Arrange and deliver CPD’s to demonstrate Product advantages and technical product information.- Attending trade events relevant to the Building Envelope sector when required.Person SpecificationOur Client is seeking to appoint a technical candidate that can demonstrate a strong knowledge and background within the External Envelope ideally from a Manufacturer of Contractor background (within Estimating/Commercial)- Able to communicate at all business levels.- Able to answer design relation questions, along with technical queries to support the use of various systems and applications.- Ability to read and interpret design drawings.Whilst the position is home based the successful candidate must be able to visit Client sites within the RegionDiversity & InclusionKingsley Consulting operates an inclusive and diverse recruitment process, whilst also ensuring our clients do the same and we can provide any advice or education to them in relation to this.
