Kitchen Staff

As a cook at my clients new entertainment centre, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of thier kitchen. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking food, maintaining cleanliness, and working in a timely manner.

Job Title: Cook

Pay: £24,000 - £28,000

Location: Reading Town Centre

Working days: 5 days per week

Job Type: full time / part time

Duties:

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes
  • Help with the unloading and storage of deliveries
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate bar staff in busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Skills:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
