Risk Manager

NonStop's Client is looking for a Risk Manager to join a Central Government Body. This opportunity will offer you stability through the current challenging market, as it is a 12 month Hybrid contract position.

This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated.

As a Risk Manager your main duties will be to run & lead risk workshops with different teams and areas across the programme, workout mitigating actions, issue management etc, what the risk exposure would look like


Essential Requirements:

* Extensive experience in Risk
* Experience in QCRA, QSRA analysis
* Excellent stakeholder engagement
* Experience in leading meetings and workshops with various stakeholder to identify risks
* Active DV Clearance

Key Accountabilities:

Lead risk, opportunity, and issue management for assigned programmes/projects.
Provide a consolidated view of risk exposure.
Implement and drive risk, opportunity, and issue processes.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Apply risk management methodologies and tools, maintaining risk registers.
Provide risk and cost modelling using quantitative tools.
Actively manage mitigation actions and create contingency plans.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate effective risk management and mitigation for programme exposure.
Own risk data, driving continuous improvement of tools and techniques.
Provide both strategic and tactical risk insight.
Assist in managing an end-to-end risk profile and present in reports/governance.
Understand financial models and their impact on performance, delivery, and cost.
