Description
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer details in the financial system.
- Conducting credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
- Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales.
- Liaising with customers to resolve outstanding queries.
- Reviewing customer accounts and initiating appropriate action.
- Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems.
- Assisting with month-end reporting.
- Working in line with company policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- An understanding of credit control procedures and principles.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
