Description

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer details in the financial system.
  • Conducting credit checks on all customers, establish and manage limits.
  • Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales.
  • Liaising with customers to resolve outstanding queries.
  • Reviewing customer accounts and initiating appropriate action.
  • Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems.
  • Assisting with month-end reporting.
  • Working in line with company policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • An understanding of credit control procedures and principles.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
