We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Capital Projects Manager to lead the identification and delivery of viable capital construction projects that meet the SEND needs across our district. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of SEND provision through effective project management and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities* Project Identification & Planning: Lead the identification of accommodation solutions to meet current and forecasted SEND needs through data analysis, stakeholder liaison, and site evaluation.* Project Management: Support the Education Place Planning and Development Manager by providing robust project management throughout the project lifecycle.* Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to legislative requirements, develop business cases, funding bids, and pre-project documentation.* Budget Management: Provide capital build budget estimates and manage project delivery programmes.* Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project meets service delivery objectives.* Reporting & Updates: Deliver regular project updates to the Education Place Planning and Development Manager and other relevant parties.* Health & Safety: Promote equality and adhere to health and safety policies.

What We're Looking For* Degree level education or equivalent experience in a related role.* Proven track record in project management, stakeholder engagement, and ideally within an education or local government environment.* Understanding of school premises standards, space standards, and key premises-related education legislation.* Excellent communication, IT proficiency (Microsoft Office), and the ability to manage complex workloads and deadlines.* Adaptability, attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
