Location: RG1 (Office based) Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £13.47 per hour PAYE 

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Join a dynamic team as a Customer Fulfilment Centre Advisor and be the cornerstone of our operations!

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the main point of contact, ensuring every interaction through various channels is handled with excellence and efficiency. You’ll play a crucial part in the Customer Experience Strategy, making a real difference to residents, businesses, and partners.

Day-to-day view of the role: 

  • Provide consistent and excellent customer service, adhering to all relevant legislation, standards, and policies.
  • Handle enquiries and casework across multiple channels, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Log enquiries, make bookings, validate and process applications with high attention to detail.
  • Offer impartial advice, guidance, and signposting to customers, partners, and businesses.
  • Assist in the administration of a range of services within the Customer Fulfilment Centre and wider council operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, and legislation, developing effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks such as customer case management, data entry, and reporting key performance indicators.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a performance-driven customer service and administrative environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency in using a range of systems and tools, including Microsoft Office 365 and database systems.
  • The ability to learn quickly and develop a thorough understanding of business areas and associated procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle complex customer enquiries across a variety of council services.

Temp opportunity for initial 3 months - possible extension for 6 months.
