Customer Services Coordinator

•    Location: Aldermaston (due to the location you will need to be a driver)•    Job Type: Full-time, 9.00am -5.00pm Monday - Thursday with an hour lunch break and 9.00am - 4:30pm on Friday with half an hour lunch.•    This is a fixed term 15 month contract to start in May to cover Maternity•    Initially full time in the office converting to hybrid working in the office twice a week•    Salary: £27,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised, driven, and motivated Customer Services Coordinator to join our dynamic customer services team. This role is ideal for someone with a proven ability to use initiative, prioritise workloads, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills, focus, and attention to detail are crucial, along with clear and confident communication abilities.

Day-to-day of the role:•    Accurately and timely process customer orders received via email or electronically.•    Professionally handle customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations via telephone and email, investigate any issues and resolve effectively.•    Liaise with third-party warehouse and freight forwarders regarding delivery enquiries, product collections, and freight quotes.•    Proactively manage customer backorders, liaising with necessary departments and keeping customers informed.•    Raise invoices and accurately process credits.•    Centralise and maintain a shared knowledge base.•    Provide customers with product information and actively promote and upsell new products.•    Share office responsibilities and perform any other duties that may be reasonably required by the Customer Service team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Educated to a high standard with at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above.•    Experience in a customer service environment is an advantage.•    Computer literate with an intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.•    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.•    Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.•    Ability to work under pressure.•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.•    Full driving license and access to a car.•    Ability to identify issues and find the most cost-effective solutions.•    Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
