Robert Half Technology are assisting a rapidly growing pharmaceuticals organisation to recruit a Data Analyst on an initial 3-6 month contract - Berkshire based - Hybrid working

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support our data migration and management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data extraction, filtration, cleansing, translation, mapping, and validation to ensure high data quality and integrity within our systems. You will play a crucial role in preparing data for migration to D365 and ensuring it aligns with business standards.

Role

  • Data Extraction: The Data Analyst will extract data from source systems and format it according to provided templates.
  • Data Filtration: Identify and segregate in-scope data for migration while archiving out-of-scope data.
  • Data Cleansing: Perform data standardisation, de-duplication, removal of extra characters, and NULL value replacements to enhance data quality.
  • Data Translation: Transform data into the target structure as required for D365.
  • Data Mapping: Align and map source data from various systems to D365 Master Data loading templates.
  • Data Validation: Generate reports with SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) metrics to monitor data quality, consistency, integrity, and uniqueness.
  • Data Accuracy & Completeness: Ensure that all extracted and transformed data is accurate, consistent, and complete before migration.

Profile

  • The Data Analyst will have a proven experience in data analysis, data migration, or data management roles.
  • Strong proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and validation techniques.
  • Experience with data mapping and cleansing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data migration processes, especially involving D365.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and document processes effectively.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) data structures and migration processes.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Background in working with ETL tools or data integration platforms.
