Great permanent role an experienced Data Warehouse Manager, working for a high profile company in Reading offering the opportunity to be able to really add value within the role and team.

The role will be leading and supporting the Datawarehouse team in production of BAU data loads, storage, DR, reporting and outbound data. Be the authority and give guidance on database management, development, architecture, future design considerations, performance improvements and monitoring.

You will be developing and applying best practice in the above areas creating and delivering a roadmap for the data warehouse future. You will also work closely with teams across the company and its suppliers to ensure the efficient operation of the strategic information services and the delivery of the overall BI Team roadmap and project developments.

What experience is needed:

  • Team leadership and development experience
  • MSSQL/ MS SQL Azure
  • Database development and database architecture/design
  • All aspects of MSSQL stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSMS etc
  • Database Installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, backups and recoveries
