Broad Core Responsibilities:
- Become expert regarding all aspects of data including reporting, importing & exporting.
- Understand the data schema of client data to facilitate creation of robust SQL queries.
- Consult with stakeholders to understand their MI requirements.
- Author clear and concise MI requirements documents for sign-off.
- Deliver MI to requirement leveraging Microsoft T-SQL and Power BI.
- Assisting colleagues with PowerBI & SQL challenges.
- Mentoring colleagues to improve PowerBI & SQL skills.
Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Power BI – advanced knowledge
- SQL – ideally advanced knowledge
- Understanding data structures and imparting this knowledge to others.
- Strong inter-personal skills, communicating confidently to varying levels of individuals internally and externally.
Nice to have:
- Producing MI for senior leaders.
- Excel; manipulating large data sets / charting.
- Knowledge of system integration including webhooks, APIs and file transfer.
- Knowledge of integration with HR systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle and ESR.
