Broad Core Responsibilities:

  • Become expert regarding all aspects of data including reporting, importing & exporting.
  • Understand the data schema of client data to facilitate creation of robust SQL queries.
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand their MI requirements.
  • Author clear and concise MI requirements documents for sign-off.
  • Deliver MI to requirement leveraging Microsoft T-SQL and Power BI.
  • Assisting colleagues with PowerBI & SQL challenges.
  • Mentoring colleagues to improve PowerBI & SQL skills.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Power BI – advanced knowledge
  • SQL – ideally advanced knowledge
  • Understanding data structures and imparting this knowledge to others.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, communicating confidently to varying levels of individuals internally and externally.

Nice to have:

  • Producing MI for senior leaders.
  • Excel; manipulating large data sets / charting.
  • Knowledge of system integration including webhooks, APIs and file transfer.
  • Knowledge of integration with HR systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle and ESR.
