Mechanical Design Engineer x2 - Senior & Principal

£35-75k + Bonus + Benefits
This is working for a company based just north of Farnborough and involves using Solidworks.
Its an opportunity to join a small, dedicated and highly skilled team of engineers & scientists, designing technically advanced optical & acoustic instrumentation. Theres opportunity for career development from an increasing level of overall responsibility for product design & project management that would not necessarily be available within a larger organisation.
Youll be working from concept through to medium volume manufacture, and involved in build standard control & change note implementation. On occasion, youll need to provide product & customer support anywhere in the world & in demanding offshore locations so a willingness to travel at short notice will be needed. Driving Licence required.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience
- Applicants should be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (2.1 or higher)
- Full UK driving license required.
- Proven ability with Solidworks CAD
- Microsoft Office skills
- Security Clearance is also required so proof of residency in UK for last 5 years will be required.
