Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their learning journey? A vibrant primary school in Curridge, W. Berkshire is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Experienced Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

This exciting Experienced Teaching Assistant opportunity offers flexibility, with both short-term and long-term positions available, as well as daily cover roles to suit your schedule. You will be working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, supporting children in their academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Pay: £83.50 - £90 per day *subject to experience*
  • Hours: Monday- Friday (Term time) 08:30am - 3:30pm
  • Location: Curridge, W. Berkshire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support, assisting Curridge (W. Berkshire) teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with students to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Adapt activities to suit the needs of all learners, ensuring every child can access the curriculum.
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), encouraging their progress and inclusion where necessary.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment in the classroom.

The ideal Experienced Teaching Assistant:

  • A passion for education and working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a school setting is an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience or knowledge of working with SEN children is a bonus, but training can be provided.
  • A flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
  • Hold 2 years' experience wiorking in primary schools as a LSA/TA or similar.
