As an Reading HLTA, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students in the classroom to ensure they are engaged and progressing in their learning.
• Adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
• Taking on additional responsibilities, such as covering lessons and working closely with teachers to implement effective learning strategies.
• Assisting with planning and delivering small group interventions.
• Collaborating with staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Experience as a Teaching Assistant is essential, whether in a primary, secondary, or specialist setting. A relevant qualification or degree is an advantage, but the most important qualities are passion and dedication. The Reading role offers opportunities for career progression, including teacher training.

• £83.50 - £90 per day
• 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
