Your local established Primary School in Tilehurst is recruiting for their newest KS1 Teaching Assistant.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the Tilehurst Primary KS1 Classroom Teachers and contributing to the education of the Tilehurst pupils. You should have experience of working with children, ideally within a KS1 school environment. You should have a passion for helping children to discover, develop and achieve within a whole class environment, in a small group or on an individual basis. You would be willing to support the Teacher, the pupils, the learning and the School.
Pay - £83 - £90 per day
Location - Tilehurst , Berkshire - M4 connections for Newbury, Slough and Berkshire.

The right KS1 Teaching Assistant candidate would be:
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Able to work well within the Tilehurst Teaching Support team with strong personal skills
- To be patient, kind and supportive
- Has an enthusiastic attitude, inspirational and have a passion for learning
- To be able to demonstrate good levels of English and Maths
- Experience with the KS1 national curriculum (preferred)
KS1 Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff with lesson preparation, delivery, and assessment.
- Assist with the supervision of students during lessons and activities.
- Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help.
- Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop your knowledge and skills in teaching and learning
