Are you passionate about supporting primary school children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)? We're looking for a caring and dedicated MLD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Reading.

Be a MLD Teaching Assistant to provide a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to succeed. Pupils with MLD may need extra support with reading, writing, numeracy, and social skills. The school is committed to helping these children build confidence and thrive.

  • Support 1:1 or small groups with reading, writing, and numeracy
  • Help students follow instructions and stay engaged
  • Assist with social skills and personal organisation
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons
  • Manage challenging behaviour positively
  • Track student progress and provide feedback
What You Need:
  • Experience working as a MLD Teaching Assistant (experience preferred)
  • Understanding of moderate learning difficulties
