Student Behaviour Assistant - Tilehurst, Reading

We are a fantastic SEN/SEMH provision based in Tilehurst, Reading, who want to welcome an enthusiastic candidate to the team as a Student Behaviour Assistant. The school educatie and support students who face challenges relating to challenging behaviour and emotional regulation. They are looking for a confident candidate to join the school as a Student behaviour Assistant to support the students who thrive when given consistent guidance and encouragement. As a Student Behaviour Assistant, you will be assisting students aged 5 - 16 years old throughout the school day.

The Student Behaviour Assistant's responsibilities:

  • Identify potential triggers for challenging behaviour
  • Encourage independence and self-investigation
  • Act as a role model for students
  • Communicate with teachers, parents and on-site professionals
  • Ensuring students feel safe and able to express themselves
