To be successful in this role as a Teaching Assistant, you should have the following:
- You should have some experience working with children but above all, nothing beats an enthusiastic and positive personality.
- You should be compassionate and friendly. You should be able to take initiative well and problem solve.
- Many of the children will have personalised educational plans and you will need to change your approach to meet their needs.
- You should have an understanding of the importance of safeguarding.
- You should hold an Enhanced DBS Check.
