Academics LTD is partnering with an outstanding SEN school in Reading that provides specialized care for children aged 5 to 18 with a wide range of mental, emotional, and social needs. We are seeking an energetic and supportive Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Experience or willingness to work with children with diverse needs: Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioural challenges, and communication difficulties
  • A passion for helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
  • Interest in working with children or within the SEN field
  • You are resilient, positive, and motivated to support children's development

Whether you have a background in Psychology, Criminology, or are simply eager to gain hands-on experience in Education or Mental Health, this role provides a fantastic stepping stone. You'll work closely with experienced SEN practitioners and psychologists, gaining invaluable insights and experience.
