Electrical Design Engineer (MOD/National Security)

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in Trimble and Relux looking to join an extremely reputable company in the UK Defence sector, where the work you do will have a direct impact on national security?

In this role you will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and overseeing and assisting the dedicated team of electricians and installation engineers on site within the nuclear sector.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer with a thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems, a high level of technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a highly regulated environment.

The Role

  • Assist in designing electrical systems for complex projects
  • Work with senior engineers on technical drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Support energy-efficient and sustainable solutions

The Person

  • Hold or be willing to apply for UK national security clearance (SC/DV)
  • Proficient computer skills including the use of Trimble ProDesign (or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
