About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and self-sufficient Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. This role will be based primarily in Reading, with potential travel to Bristol, Swindon, and London sites. The ideal candidate must be switched on, physically fit, and comfortable working independently, as this is a work-alone role with occasional support to other business units.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on commercial systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and compliance checks in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Work effectively on your own, managing your workload and ensuring high standards of service.
- Support other business units as required, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain health & safety compliance and adhere to company policies.
? 18th Edition qualification (Essential).? Proven experience in electrical maintenance within Facilities Management.? Ability to work independently and be proactive in resolving issues.? Physically fit and capable of managing the demands of the role.? Full UK driving license (preferred, due to potential travel).
