About the Role:We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Assessor to join our team and support apprentices and learners on their journey toward industry success. You'll play a crucial role in assessing learners' skills and knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring they meet the standards required for their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support learners working towards Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQs, Apprenticeships)

  • Deliver high-quality workplace visits and online assessments

  • Monitor learner progress and provide guidance throughout their learning journey

  • Ensure assessment practices comply with awarding body requirements

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to standardisation activities

  • Support learners with employability and industry-related skills

Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Level 3 or higher)

  • Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/33) - or willingness to work towards

  • Industry experience in electrical engineering or a related field

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all backgrounds

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (if applicable)

Desirable:

  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, CertEd)

  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and funding rules
