Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Location: Reading Area (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to 60k (DOE)

The Opportunity:
A well-established building services consultancy with over 50 years of success is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. Known for expertise in mission-critical and traditional sectors, including 40+ years in data center projects, this role is ideal for those wanting to expand into or refine their experience in diverse sectors. With an upcoming retirement, the consultancy is seeking a skilled leader to join its close-knit, forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities:

Lead electrical system designs across data centers, healthcare, and commercial developments.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their development.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
CIBSE Chartership (ideal).
Knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, DIALux, Amtech, Navisworks (preferred).
Understanding of CIBSE guidelines and UK work rights.
Strong leadership and technical expertise in building services.
