We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage the mechanical engineering components of design and build projects in the water sector. This role involves ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical engineering aspects of water sector projects, overseeing all phases from initial design to final implementation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and UK water industry best practices.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience in the water sector.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Candidate Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the UK water sector, particularly in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of the Designer and Principal Designer duties under CDM2015 regulations is essential.
