My client, a well-established brand within emergency lighting systems, is looking for an experienced lighting Service Engineer based in Reading and will be visiting sites throughout the South-Central/West London part of the UK, commissioning and maintaining their own emergency lighting systems in a wide range of locations.

The ideal candidate would have a background as a qualified electrician (City & Guilds 2391 and/or 18th Edition 2382), have on-site technical service experience and have a background within Lighting maintenance, wired, wireless and Dali commissioning and contracting. Although partial qualifications will still be accepted with a willingness to complete further Education whilst within the role.

You should have the drive to succeed, be both professional and reliable and want to work for a forward-thinking organisation that works on quality of engineering service and not quantity. There will be a good handover period with this position with hands on training by the incumbent to ensure that you are fully aware of the job role and responsibilities.

A full driving license is essential, and you may be occasionally required to stay away from home.
