- Full time site based role 66 hours - 11 shifts on, 3 shifts off
- For each day travelled to site, a 100 per diem is payable to workers travelling more than 30 miles to site.
- Workers must have CSCS/ECS card prior to starting.
- ** Candidates must also be eligible for SC clearance due to the nature of the role **
The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Technician to join a leading Nuclear project based at the Burghfield Site.
Job Purpose
To undertake installation activities in accordance with their training, best practice and trade/legal standards.
Job responsibilities
- To participate in the planning and preparation of works including production of RAMS.
- To carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards.
- To comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area.
- To carry out safety and behavioural observation.
- To comply with quality requirements of the work pack.
- To not proceed past a hold point.
- To report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to their line manager.
- Any other task/duties, commensurate with the Role Holder's competency, as directed by the Line Manager.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Site Installation experience (preferred) in Nuclear Industry/Power Generation
- Level 3 Qualification (e.g. Recognised Training Scheme or Apprenticeship) appropriate to their trade.
- CSCS / ECS Card relevant to qualifications and role - Mandatory for access to site
- BS 7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regs
- BS 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
