Static Maintenance Electrician - ReadingAre you a skilled and experienced Electrician looking for a stable and rewarding role with a competitive salary and excellent benefits?We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Static Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Reading. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our hospital.What You'll Do:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment, including:
* Lighting, power, and control systems* Motors, generators, and transformers * Fire alarm systems and other safety equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems
- Carry out repairs and installations of electrical components and systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Participate in an on-call rota (supporting colleagues for out-of-hours emergencies)
What You'll Need:
- A proven track record as a maintenance electrician
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge
- Experience with PLC systems and control systems (desirable)

- Competitive salary of £42,000 per year (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday working hours (8am - 4pm)
